SSI Coarse CAP(AFC75) Diffuser

Caps are most commonly used inaerobic digesters and equalization tanks where highrate oxygen transfer efficiency is not required. Theyare manufactured from black Acrylic plasticcontaining UV protection and membranes aremade from the same EPDM compound that SSluses in fine bubble disc diffusers. Caps have a3/4" MNPT thread, SSl's Cap diffuser is a nonclog design and operates wellunder intermittent and continuous conditions. A typical piping systemutilizing SSl AFC75 diffusers is made from PVC, CPVC or Stainless Steelpipe, with Grommets, Drilled and Tapped pipe, or welded ¾"FNPT SSDosses to the top center line.

This excellent diffuser from SSl is a non~clogtype that automatically closes and sealscompletely when air is turned off. Unlikestainless steel widebandtype diffisers, thismodel will not be clogged by rags in the tank.
