The Toray Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) process is a process that combines biological treatment with membrane filtration.

Degradable pollutants are degraded by bacteria and microorganisms, and after such biological treatment, the water in the activated sludge is separated by the filtration action of Toray membranes.
